Oh WOW! Is it against league rules to attempt to hijack a trade lol! Damn you Bish, that's an awesome trade.

Definitely Notorious! I'd have easily given up more than that for the #8 pick. Well played Bish Wink

How the hell did you get the 8th overall pick for 3 mediocre players and all I could get was a 2nd rounder for Vick? I feel like I got scammed.

Normally, I wouldn't approve this but considering its the last season and looking at the individual ratings it seems despite low overalls the Raiders are getting 2 starters with speed and a posession receiver for one mid-80's player so I guess its ok.

I looked at draft brza and was desperate for WR there were 2 decent ones but at 8th not sure I would get either I thought getting 3 players for 1 draft pick was better then what was on offer I don't do scams

Don't take it personal. I'm just joking about the scam. I just wish I had the negotiating power of Bish Wink

Hey guys - you all know the Bears always try and help out even to the point of virtually giving players away! - Still got a few good'uns up for grabs!

I'm pleased common sense has prevailed with this trade.

Seriously though - OSS, if Daz or anyone else has a better offer that you might like just shout up.

Re: Bears - Raiders Trade

Without looking at my roster. Something like Luke Stocker, Brian Heartline and Dior Taylor (who rates out highly at WR despite being a HB) or Dez Briscoe.

The OVR's would be slightly higher than yours I believe Bish...hence, a slightly better deal. But for the #8 pick I could probably have packeged another player or pick. Like trading 1sts and a couple of WR/TE's.

But both people are happy with the trade Smile

I was just kidding, jealousy is a terrible thing Crying or Very sad

If you both are happy then who am I to argue, I just know that Bears v Lions just got another level harder lol.

I was just suprised because I have a TE and WR on my block both with better Ovr then those traded but hey ho. Such is life in the NFL

To be honest I didnt look at is Not i just got Vick and realised that my wr were short and then wityh a decent TE thrown in with 2 decent wr i could not turn it down as i managed to get 3 players for 1 draft pick that wasnt going to really affect my team.

Yea that's your call and no one can argue with that. It's your team so build it whichever way you see fit, I just wish you had dealt with somebody else. It's hard enough being in a division which has accounted for the last 3 Superbowl winners (and also was represented in a 4th) without you trading away a top ten pick Laughing

All jesting aside I actually enjoy it, I'd enjoy it more with a top ten pick though Smile

Re: Bears - Raiders Trade

Hi,

Thats a suprising Trade. Ok, let us See if i understand it right:

1. Bish get the #8 pick for 3 midcore Players
2. None of These Players has a contract for the next Season. All Players should be resign before the trade can go on
3. OSS dont know the conditions of the contracts for the next Season
4. Get bish more cap room? I think he replace 3 Players with a middle Salary (if he resign the players) against One Player with a low Salary. Or i wrong? ->if i right he can use the cap room to bid/sign a Good Free Agent.

in my opinion it is a huge advantage for bish. -> it seems as bish get the First round pick for nothing and more options to optimize his team

Congratulation to bish for the Great Deal Smile
