ok buys, Bring out the nerds in yourselves.

I have tried everything in order to get nfl gamepass onto my flat screen (I recently got a Samsung UE46D8005) but the only way so far to get gamepass onto my screen is connecting the laptop to the screen with an HDMI cable but that kinda sucks. I would like to be able to stream the shit. Any ideas? what do you guys do?

HDMI is the best way of doing it from a laptop that I know of. I watch Game Pass on my laptop or PC.

yeah I usually watch the games on my laptop but sometimes I would like to blow it up in the big screen.
I have purchased MLB.TV because of it´s great value and keeps me busy in the nfl offseason. MLB.TV has an apps that runs on the ps3 that allows me access to the contents from the ps3 and plays it on the tv. Great great app...

I prefer the HDMI hookup but you can also stream from your laptop to PS3. I was really hoping NFL would have an app for PS3 like MLB and NBA have. Just simplifies the whole cable mess around the TV. And they already have an NFL Sunday Ticket app for PS3 in the states which is basically the same as Gamepass for NA customers minus local games so I don't know why they haven't made it possible with Gamepass.

I already ordered the whole package though. Enjoyed watching hours of the top 100 countdown the other day but I noticed the quality is worse than it used to be on my media PC. It still plays perfectly on my laptop which has a better processor and graphics card than my PC but on the older hardware/integrated graphics its pretty pixelated.

I just use a HDMI myself. I bought a decent length one so i can keep my laptop next to me on the sofa for the DVR controls, I only do it for sunday evening for the football then just put it away again, no mess no problem. The picture on the big screen in HD is gorgeous too, I'd definitely say if your laptop has an HDMI out then that's the way to go, plug and play.

I've tried getting PS3 media server to work in the past and got fed up with trying.

Like I said I use the HDMI because I find setting up the PS3 mediaserver much more of a hassle than simply plugging in the HDMI to my TV.

But now that I think about it, its not possible to stream a stream to your PS3 with the normal mediaserver. The Mediaserver only works with video thats already saved to your laptop/PC. So either you would have to find a way to save the Gamepass stream and watch it with a delay or find a remote desktop program that works in a browser and is compatible with the old flash version that PS3 has. Even if you can find a remote desktop app that does that there's no way you could get a quality picture that way because you would need a hell of a wifi connection and more processing power than most laptops on the market have.

So, HDMI hookup from laptop or media pc and a remote control for the laptop/media pc is the way to go.

If you really don't like the cable hookup though there are also wireless hardware setups like this that work:
