If we don't hear anything; should we just put it through?

Sorry I've been busy the past 2 days. I think a first and a second is already too much for Hernandez. Adding Thurmond makes it way off balance imo. I cant approve it like it is.
See what Bish and inf have to say about it.

lol Tru doesn't rate draft picks here is an example Wink

EAGLE TRADE (Tru)
1pick Eagles 2012, 3rd Eagles 2012, 1st Eagles 2013, 3rd Eagles 2013 + Havili (fb, 63)

RAIDERS TRADE
FB Reece (91)

its a 1st next season so it would take him 2 seasons before he can even use it.

thurmond was a possible cut anyways and a 2nd now for hernandez is cheap.

hernandez is 1 of the best TE in the game and a certified game changer.

only TE id take over him would be vernon and maybe graham.

and yes to me high draft picks are not worth that much compared to impact high rated players.

first you have to scout a player and then hope he is there when you draft.
then you have to hope he can be better then what you already have.
then you have to play and get stats with him and bases on that you can improve him little by little.
if you lucky he might get to the level of the player you just traded away lol.

also im not planning on having a top 10 or top 20 pick so that will also limit the stud players i can get in a draft.

there is no auto progression that guarnteed that you player will go up like the past maddens.
so lets say he gets injured then you are screwed and it was a worthless pick lol.
also we have no idea what the draft class will be like at all.

thats my view anyways and i rarely keep picks and i dont mind paying for players i want.
just look at my deal with afro lol

what does this have to do with anything regarding this league.

Regardless of your approach towards draft picks this deal is totally un sim.

No team would make a deal like that for a player, especially an undersized TE like Hernandez. He's a very dangerous player, but not worth a 1st, 2nd and a player.

A 2nd round pick and the player will suffice in my eyes.

Couple of things here - firstly, i agree with you guys - this trade is too unbalanced. Hernandez is very dangerous, and worth a 1st or 2nd rounder and a back up but no more.

Tru - how you manage your team is entirely up to you and we all agree on that, but the reason the committee is here is to ensure no-one gets stiffed and keep the league as SIM as possible. You may feel it should be up to you and Pook to make the above trade but these guidelines will help you both at some stage in the future.

Basically guys, the general consensus above means you would have to remove one of the draft picks to make this trade work.

Exactly, if for whatever reason you have to leave the league (PS3 bust, internet breaks, cheesing, whatever) we need to not have a completely ruined roster that would cause problems and leave the impression the league is an unsim one.

Trades like this just aren't sim in any way.

If a player was worth that much, they wouldn't likely be traded lol
