I don't know. I haven't been able to check out the ratings but imo ford is a huge weapon. Getting him for some poor olinemen seems unfair. See what the others think & I'll check the ratings tomorrow.

Well, the 2 linemen in question both have RBK & PBK in the 80's. Ford is fast but his catching stats are mediocre at best!!! Thats why he rated 73.

The point is this - i could straight swap an O lineman 77 OVR but OSS only gets one lineman instead of 2.

Either way i dont mind, but i think the Raiders could do with both players?

Ford is a weapon because of his KR ability as well as his speed...

I'm not too keen tbh, depends on the ages of the O-Linemen for me to say its a cool trade.

Olinemen are almost impossible to improve while Ford could easily improve on his 73 ovr...

The O linemen are 25 and 26. Williams starts at LG for the Bears. Meredith is a very good back-up at Tackle with PBK & RBK in the 80's.

Jacoby Ford is 25. Raiders number THREE wide receiver. He is fast, and most productive on kick returns, but as Hester is out for 8 weeks he is a good replacement until he is fit.

The Raiders need O line help.

2 guys have said ok. 2 guys are unsure.

I have offered an alternative - i could trade Garza (80 OVR) or Goldberg (OVR 77) or any combination of the FOUR linemen mentioned. They are all cheap - except maybe Garza who has a cap hit of 1.9 mill.

Just give me a green light on what you guys find acceptable.

sorry that I did not reply yesterday but I was in an overtime nailbiter with pooky.

Not sure I can bring much to the table.

I am not sure why the Raiders would do this but I think we have discssed this before:-) But value wise it looks ok. I as the other would rate a avg receiver much higher than avg linemen. 65-70 ovr o linemen can be had as street free agents.

That said if the two owners like this deal I think it is ok. Could substitute one of the cats with a pick but that is just an option.

Ok we'll I think a lot has been made of this and therefore will not go ahead with the trade it's not worth the hassle that it seems to be causing, Bish trade me Camari the beast for Ford and at least it's closer in terms of quality

Right ......

OSS - "not worth the hassle" ............ but you want Carimi???

Brza, LT, Jens, Infemous - 2 yes's = trade ok surely????? Even my mortal enemy Eder agrees with it!

Ok, ok ... look guys - there is no trade raping going on here - but i do accept that the whole of the league HATE the Bears lol. So, once again, Chicago will comply with the narrow minded , decrepid old bunch on the trade committee and revise the trade.

OSS - i will check when i get in from work and we'll sort it tonight.

Brza, Infemous: - The Bears are really, really hoping to play the Eagles in the post-season & Bills in the SB .................

OSS - heres an interesting option for you (but Carimi's got to stay in Chicago i'm afraid):-

I see you got Kellen Winslow at TE but nothing more - i could add the mercurial David Ausberry to the trade. He's young, only 63 OVR but he's 87 speed. I assume you use 2 TE sets fairly regular like most of us and Ausberry would give you a vertical threat from the TE spot. With a bit of progression Ausberry is like Ford in as much that he's one of the fastest TE's in the league with great potential due to his speed.

Bear in mind you need to move Briesel to his natural position of RG and play Williams at LG.

If you want Aus then you can take your pick of the O linemen (Williams, Garza, Goldberg, Meredith). Heck, you can even have Williams, Goldberg AND Ausberry to keep everyone happy!

So, here's the new proposal:

Ford for Ausberry, Williams and Goldberg.

Ok, i'll post it on PS3 tomorrow OSS - Ford for Ausberry, Williams and Goldberg.

I think you will have to cut someone as to stay on 53 players. You cant accept the trade until you are at 51 players as you are getting THREE good players for ONE dammit!!!

laters dude
