Eagles Trade Block

Post by brza37 on Sun Nov 25, 2012 11:30 am

Some great players are available:
DE - Brandon Graham 75 OVR 93 PMV 80 SPD
TE - Brent Celek 83 OVR 88 CTH 88 CIT 80 SPD
DE - Philip Hunt 80 OVR 91 FMV
DT - Cortney Baines 82 OVR 88 BKS 84 FMV
DT - Israel Carter 88 BKS
MLB - Demeco Ryans 86 OVR 90 BKS 90 PRC 93 PUR 84 ACC 85 POW
RG - Danny Watkins 90 RBK 90 PBK 88 STR

AND SS Charles Woodson (88 OVR 86 MCV 87 ZCV 93 PRC) has decided he's not ready for retirement yet despite picking up his second Super Bowl championship with his second team. He would like to stay here but due to cap problems he could be available for the right price. He could be the key to get one lucky contender over the hump. He did it for me Very Happy as he interercepted 4 passes in the final 2 weeks of the playoffs.
I'd be willing to trade him for a conditional pick, meaning if he changes his mind and retires before the draft I will trade the acquired pick or player back.

I'm looking for draft picks or replacement at TE.

Step into my office then and let me know what you're willing to offer. I love first round picks.

Historically, Brza is currently sitting 3rd on the all time 'hard nosed negotiator' list - bettered only by The Inland Revenue and Ebenezer Scrooge.

This is the formula HC's need to trade with Philly:-
Whatever Brza wants double the value if he's the tradee
Whatever Brza wants halve the value if he's the trader

Now, on that basis Mr Commish, Cullen Jenkins, with all his baggage (not to mention his salary) is a low 2nd round pick at best!

So, come on, let me see the fibre of your fabric .......

And there goes Bish spreading malicious rumors again to talk down the value of one of my players.

Jenkins is the 8th ranked DT in the league. He is not even one of the top 10 highest paid DTs though. I stopped counting but there are at least 14 DTs who make more per year than him. In fact his salary is on par with a bunch of players rated way below him. In the NFC East alone players like Barry Coefield and Chris Canty both ranked 13 spots behind him but are making more per year.

As far as draft picks are concerned if you want top value then expect to pay for it. A mix of a player and a pick is also a possibility though.

You won't find a guy in the 1st round at 88 ovr and 90pbk and rbk let alone 3rd. Because of my surplus I might consider a 2nd for Todd though.

Haha. Sorry not in a gift giving mood yet. Smile actually just checked the ratings & he's the 3rd highest rated RT in the league according to my scheme. I'd be crazy trading him for a 2nd.
If you want Bell let me know. He can play RT too. But I'm not trading Todd unless I get a great deal.

Demetress Bell available cheap. 90pbk 88rbk for a 3 rounder because I'm stacked at OT and need cap room. 2014 2nd rounder is also ok.

Added DE Philip Hunt to the trade block. 80 OVR 91 FMV 3rd year player. Just too much depth at DE for me at the moment. If you're interested let me know. Trade deadline is Week 8.

You got loads of DE's have ya - assume by that you mean Trent Cole lol?

Never mind the DE nonsense, how about OLB Kendricks boss? And if so, what for? Or DRC maybe?

I knew I couldn't update my trade block without you popping up to put down my players, Bish. I see you forgot about Babin though. Top 5 in sacks every year. 98 PMV 86 OVR isn't too bad.

Anyway, Kendricks is not gonna get traded. DRC has been on the no-trade list too but the recent emergence of Curtis Marsh could make him expendable. But I don't see any reason to trade him at the moment.

True indeed - forgot about Babin! However, i'm not putting your guys down - just trying to plant some doubt in the Birds locker room - dont like the impressive numbers coming out of Philly so far this season!

Didn't think you'd trade Kendo or DRC but thought its been a while since i asked lol.

Brza do you have any interest in trading Nick Foles? Vick has been healthy and is now a Superbowl winning QB so surely you wouldn't need him? Smile
