Bengals Texans trade

Post by warrior9674 on Sun Nov 09, 2014 11:45 pm

Bengals send third round pick to Houston Texans

Texans  trade to Bengals Ryan Mallett QB 81 (73 on ps4) ovr 0.89 mil cap
Cant seem to post daddy's league info.
This trade is for next season, also need to check if the one year left is for next s3ason or if he needs to be resigned before trade.
Thanks

I'm happy with this trade.  Mallett is out of contract at the end of this season, so he will be resigned before the trade.  Do I need to negotiate this contract before we can do the trade?

Thanks,
Kev

Yes, you can't trade players not under contract so you'll have to resign him this offseason before the trade can go through.
Generally we don't approve trades until the offseason because a player can regress significantly messing up what would have been a fair trade. But because this trade will require a resigning first I'll approve conditionally as long as Mallett doesn't considerably regress or improve when we advance to the offseason.

Yes, the trade is approved. If Kev can resign him at a reasonable price then you guys can put the trade through.
